Can I request a migration extension?

If you find yourself unable to meet the migration deadline, you can request a one-time extension by following this link to your Dashboard.

If it’s your first time accessing the migration tooling via Workbench, you may need to first accept access to Workbench.

Then, you will see a Summary of the information needed to upgrade your migration to Payment Intents API. On the bottom left side, you’ll see your migration deadline, as well as a button to request a one-time deadline extension.

Once granted, you’ll see the new deadline confirmed on the Summary tab in Upgrade to Payment Intents and the ability to request an extension will be deactivated. 

No additional extensions will be granted beyond the extension deadline. We recommend scoping the engineering work far in advance of the deadline to avoid any errors from the shutdown.

If you are not able to complete the migration by the extension deadline, an alternative option is to turn off LPMs in your checkout to avoid customer-facing breakages.
